About Eau Claire Roofing Connection

Eau Claire Roofing Connection is a roofing contractor in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. We replace and repair asphalt shingle, metal, and flat roofs on homes and commercial buildings across the Chippewa Valley, within about 25 miles of the city: Eau Claire, Altoona, Chippewa Falls, Lake Hallie, Menomonie, Bloomer, Cadott, Fall Creek, Augusta, Osseo, Mondovi, Colfax, and Elk Mound. We carry general liability and workers' compensation insurance, we answer the phone seven days a week from 8 AM to 6 PM, and every estimate is free and in writing.

The work runs from emergency tarps and single-shingle repairs to full tear-offs and new construction: asphalt shingle, standing seam and exposed-fastener metal, low-slope membranes, commercial flat roofs. Most of it is residential replacement and repair. We do not follow storms across state lines; we work where we live, which is the only reason a workmanship warranty from us means anything in year four.

How a roofing estimate with us works

Most homeowners have never bought a roof before, so the process is built to be understood the first time through.

The estimate visit

Free and without obligation. We schedule a visit, climb the roof if it is safe, take photos and measurements, and write up what we find. No pitch on the driveway, no "sign today for 20% off." The written estimate arrives the same day or within a business day, and it is specific to your roof: the decking allowance if the house is old enough to need one, the ventilation correction if the attic calls for it, the permit if your town requires one.

Repair or replace, decided on the roof

Sometimes the answer is a full replacement. Sometimes it is a $400 repair instead of a $14,000 re-roof, and we would rather write the smaller invoice now and earn the bigger job in five years when the roof actually needs it. Either way the recommendation comes with the tradeoffs both directions, and the repair page lays out the math we use.

Photos, measurements, and the insurance file

Every visit is documented: photos, measurements, the written estimate, before-and-after shots (the gallery has a selection). If a storm claim is involved, the file is built for the adjuster, with drone overheads, close-ups of the damage, and the code-required items an initial scope tends to miss, and we can be on the roof when the adjuster is. The storm damage page walks through that process.

No pressure sales, no vanishing discounts, no skipped permits

We do not pressure-sell. If you call for a quote, you get a quote. We will not camp on your driveway, follow up six times in a week, or send a sales manager to close you.

We do not run gimmick discounts that vanish if you do not sign today. The price is the same on Tuesday as on Friday. If a roofer tells you the price drops 25% if you sign right now, the original price was not fair.

We do not skip the permit. Where a town requires one, and Eau Claire, Altoona, and Chippewa Falls do for a re-roof, we pull it as part of the job, because a permitted, inspected roof is what holds up at resale and on an insurance claim. The replacement page lists the rule town by town.
