Service areas in the Chippewa Valley
Every town below has its own roofing page: the housing stock there, what the weather does to it, who issues the permit, and what the work costs. All of them sit within about 30 minutes of Eau Claire. If your town is close but not listed, call and we will tell you straight whether we can take the job.
Service area map: 25 miles around Eau Claire
The map below shows our 25-mile primary service radius from our Eau Claire base. Most jobs we do fall inside the highlighted area. Some farther markets (Mondovi to the southwest, Osseo to the southeast) sit on the edge of that radius and are still part of our regular schedule.
Eau Claire, Altoona, Chippewa Falls, and Lake Hallie
Our home market and the three cities that border it. Same-day estimate visits and emergency service are standard here during business hours.
Eau Claire
Our base of operations
Our home base. Roofing services for Eau Claire homes and businesses.
Altoona
4 mi NE · pop. ~8,500
Altoona's subdivision roofs from the early 2000s are reaching replacement age right as the 2025 hail bruised them. Replacement, repair, storm claims, and River Prairie HOA work, eight minutes from our door.
Chippewa Falls
11 mi N · pop. ~15,000
A city where the lumber-era homes downtown hide plank decking under their shingles and the Lake Wissota subdivisions take the wind head-on. Tear-offs, repairs, and storm documentation, 15 minutes up Highway 53.
Lake Hallie
7 mi N · pop. ~7,300
Low, open ground between Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls takes hail and straight-line wind at full force. Storm documentation first, then the repairs, wind-rated replacements, and corridor commercial work that follow.
Menomonie, Bloomer, and Cadott: 25 to 30 minutes out
Larger towns we work in every week. Drive times run 25 to 30 minutes and these jobs go on the regular schedule, same as the close-in cities.
Menomonie
24 mi W · pop. ~16,633
A city of student rentals, two reservoirs, and a ten-block historic district generates more repair calls than any other town we serve. Leak diagnosis first, replacement when the math says so.
Bloomer
19 mi N · pop. ~3,628
The Town of Bloomer farm belt runs on ribbed steel and the exposed home sites out there are where standing seam beats asphalt on the long math. In town, the older streets still get asphalt, and the city asks for no permit either way.
Cadott
19 mi NE · pop. ~1,498
When a front tracks Highway 29 and drops hail or wind on Chippewa County, Cadott calls get a tarp and a documented claim the same business day. Between storms: village re-roofs and farm steel.
Fall Creek, Augusta, Osseo, Mondovi, Colfax, and Elk Mound
Smaller villages and outlying cities, 20 to 30 minutes from Eau Claire. Residential re-roofs and agricultural outbuilding steel are the typical mix out here.
Fall Creek
12 mi E · pop. ~1,422
Older village homes that still breathe through gable vents, an early-2000s re-roof wave coming due, and farm buildings on every road out of town. Twenty minutes up US 12 from our door.
Augusta
21 mi SE · pop. ~1,567
Around Augusta the outbuildings are the bigger half of the work: ribbed steel on the barns and machine sheds of the Town of Bridge Creek, with asphalt or standing seam on the house, quoted as one project.
Osseo
25 mi SE · pop. ~1,818
Three kinds of roof in one small market: the 7th Street village grid, the exit 88 commercial cluster, and the farm steel of southern Trempealeau County, the one county we serve where a re-roof needs no permit.
Mondovi
22 mi SW · pop. ~2,845
Mondovi's early-2000s re-roof wave is aging toward tear-off, and the farmsteads around it run on steel. Full replacements in asphalt or standing seam, plus the panel work, quoted as one property.
Colfax
24 mi NW · pop. ~1,182
Hail on a Colfax roof rarely announces itself. We document it slope by slope, meet the adjuster, and fix the roof, and between storms we re-roof the historic core and re-skin the farm buildings.
Elk Mound
13 mi NW · pop. ~985
Wind finds Elk Mound roofs, from the slopes below Mound Hill Park to the open farms. We repair what it lifts to an exposure standard, and replace what is actually done.
Roofing outside the 25-mile radius
We sometimes work outside the cities listed above, especially for projects with established Chippewa Valley homeowners or for storm-damage emergencies. If you're within reasonable driving distance of Eau Claire, give us a call and we'll let you know if we can take the job. The worst that can happen is a referral to a contractor who's a better fit for your area.
